Family, police searching for missing teen

The Williston Police Department is asking the public for information on a teenager reported as a runaway.

Amanda Slade, 15, Williston, was last seen at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday.

Slade is five feet, nine inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black and white Monster jacket, sweat pants and white and pink Babyphat shoes.

Slade also had an orange backpack with her.

According to Slade’s family, she may also have changed her hair color.

Police say she may have dyed her hair blond.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked is contact the Williston Police Department at 577-1212.

Family still searching for missing teen

A Williston teen reported as a runaway earlier this week is still missing.

Amanda Slade, 15, was last seen at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday.

Slade's father, Wes Slade, said he and family members have been out searching for her daily.

"There's
fliers all over town at a lot of the businesses. Anybody that has any
ideas on where she is asked to contact us immediately," said Wes Slade.

So
far, he said, there have been a few people providing tips on her
whereabouts.

Wes Slade said two people witnessed her get into a gold-colored
Chevy extended-cab pickup truck in the alley behind their home the night
she disappeared.

Wes Slade said he hopes his daughter is still
in the area. He said if she's paying any attention to local media the
family has a message for her: "It's OK to come home. We just want you
home and we want you safe."

Slade is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and
weighs 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen
wearing a black and white Monster jacket, sweat pants and pink Babyphat
shoes. She also had an orange backpack with her.

Missing Teens Found

Missing teens Ashley Booth and Amanda Slade have been found. Sixteen-year-old Ashley Booth, who has been missing since Aug. 21, was located in California. She is in protective custody, and Williston police have arranged for her trip back to North Dakota. Amanda Slade was also found this weekend in Williston.
