Nevada teen arrested in infant daughter's death
North Las Vegas police say a 16-year-old girl faces a child abuse charge following the death of her infant daughter.
The Las Vegas Sun reported Wednesday that the teenager was arrested at her home in connection with the newborn's June 2010 death.
Police say the infant died at the home soon after she was born.
The mother is suspected of child abuse with substantial bodily harm and child endangerment with substantial bodily harm.
Police didn't release the teenager's name because of her age.
