MIDDLE TOWNSHIP - Police are searching for a
15-year-old girl and her baby who have been reported missing by
family members who believe she may be on her way to Georgia.

Police said the girl, Cynthia Torres, met an unknown man on a
social network site and may be going to Atlanta with her
18-month-old daughter to meet him, Lt. John Edwards said.


Torres' family, which is originally from Vineland and recently
moved to the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, contacted
police Friday to report Torres missing.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black jacket
and blue sneakers, police said.Torres is described as 5 foot, 3 inches tall with brown eyes, black
hair and about 120 pounds.Her daughter, Julisa Perez, was last seen wearing pink
legging-style pants, a gray and pink shirt and a pink jacket.Edwards said Middle Township police are part of the search for
Torres and Perez because Torres was in Rio Grande with her family
when she left."We're hoping we get somebody who knows her and has contact with
her through Facebook or something," he said of the police seeking

COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Police Department is requesting
assistance from the public in locating a juvenile mother and her
18-month-old daughter, who were reporting missing by family members on Jan. 28.
Cynthia Torres, 15, of Vineland met an unknown male on a social
network site and is possibly traveling to Atlanta, Georgia with her
daughter to meet him, police said.
Torres was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black jacket
and blue sneakers. She is described as being 5-foot-3, approximately
120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. The daughter, Julisa Perez,
was last seen wearing pink leggings-style pants, a gray and pink shirt and a pink jacket.
Anyone with information regarding Torres is asked to contact the Middle Township Police Major Crimes Unit at (609) 465-8700.

could possibly be in Montgomery and authorities are asking for any
information on their whereabouts.The Middle Township

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Authorities in Alabama say they're on the lookout for a missing New Jersey 15-year-old and her baby.

New Jersey's Middle Township Police Department is trying to locate Cinthya Torres of Vineland.

The Alabama Department of Public Safety says Torres met an
unidentified man on a social network site. Investigators say she and her
18-month-old daughter may be in the Montgomery area.

A news release describes Torres as 5-foot-3, about 120 pounds, with
brown eyes and black hair. It says she was reported missing on Jan. 28.

A 15-year-old mother from Vineland who moved to an Alabama trailer
park to live with a man she met on a social networking site could be in
danger, police said.

Cinthya Torres traveled sometime in late January to Atlanta, Ga. with
her 18-month-old daughter to meet the man, said Sgt. Pat Conte, a
spokesman for the Middle Township Police Department in Cape May.

Torres’ mother reported her missing January 28, saying that she had met someone on the internet, Conte said.

Police would not say why they believe she was in danger, but said she had recently moved to a trailer park in Montgomery, Ala.

Middle Township Police are asking for the public's help in locating a
teen mother and her 18-month old daughter who they believe may be in
danger after the 15-year-old mother went to live with an unidentified
man she met on the Internet, The Star-Ledger reported.
Police say
Cinthya Torres may be in Alabama after traveling to Atlanta, Georgia in
January to meet the man, said Sergeant Pat Conte, spokesman for the
Police Department in Cape May.
Investigators have not said why they believe the young mother may be
in danger, but said Torres may have recently moved to a trailer park
with the man in Montgomery, Alabama, WSFA Montgomery reported.
Her mother reported Torres and the baby missing on January 28, said
Conte, who added that the Torres family was living in Vineland before
moving to the Rio Grande section of Middle Township recently.



Since police think the girl may be in Montgomery, the Alabama Department of Public Safety has joined the search for the mother and child.
"We're hoping we get somebody who knows her and has contact with her

A 15-year-old girl who went missing in January with her
18-month-old daughter was found Wednesday in Florida, according to
Middle Township police.

Middle Township police and the Cape May County Prosecutor's
Office had been searching for Cinthya Torres and her daughter since
Jan. 28. Torres is from Vineland, NJ, but has family in the Cape
May County town, where she was first reported missing.
Police said Thursday that Torres had been found in Plant City,
Fla. She was found by the the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office
