COULD THIS BE WHY BAEZ IS IN TROUBLE WITH THE BAR? Sounds like he may have informed Laura B of a criminal investigation. LDB makes it perfectly clear that the Prosecutors did NOT tell her. Read here:

Then on p. 81/101 LDB asks Laura B

The only thing I wanted to follow up on: They asked you whether or not you believed that you were the target of a criminal investigation.
A. Uh-huh.
Q. Where did you get that idea?
MR. BAEZ: Hold on.

Q. Okay. Let me ask you differently then. Did you hear that from me as one --
A. No, ma'am.
Q --of the Prosecutors on the case?
A. No, ma'am.
Q. Mr. George, who is another Prosecutor? That's him.
A. No. No.
Q. Another Prosecutor in the case.
A. No.
Q. Have you had some either direct or indirect contact from a Sergeant John Allen?
A. No.
Q. Have you had direct or indirect contact from Corporal Yuri Melich about you being the target of any sort of criminal investigation?
A. No, ma'am.
Q. How about a Corporal Eric Edwards?
A. No, ma'am.
Q. All right. These people have not communicated with you?
A. No.
Q. Or gotten a message to you through one of your friends or family members, have they?
A. No.
Q. Okay. You said that you talked to some friends of yours that you knew from the time of the search --
A. Uh-huh.
Q. -- did any of them suggest to you that you were the target of a ciminal investigation?
A. No. No.
