A silver alert has been issued for a teenager who authorities say walked away from a behavioral health facility in Wilson.

Police are looking for 19-year-old Matthew Gardner
who walked away from Le'Chris Behavioral Health Services Tuesday
afternoon in Wilson.

Police say the teen suffers from several mental
health related problems. He was last seen walking away from 2707 Wooten
Blvd heading west.

Gardner is 6-6'2" tall, brown
hair with a blonde spot on the front of his head. He was last seen
wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Police say the teen was spotted on the 100 block of
Jones Street around 9:30 Wednesday morning and was taken to the Wilson
Medical Center for evaluation.
