Police Issue Silver Alert For Missing Long Island Teen

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Long Island girl who suffers from Autism.

The Suffolk County Police Department is looking for 15-year-old Alexa
G. Ramirez, who was last seen at 6:30 p.m. on March 19 in front of 25
Farm Road in St. James.
Ramirez is 5-feet-5-inches, 180 pounds with brown eyes and
shoulder-length dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey
hoodie, black jeans and grey sneakers.
Anyone with information about the 11th-grade student from Smithtown
East High School is asked to contact the Fugitive/Missing Person Section

St. James, NY (SmithtownRadio.com) – A missing Saint James girl has been found safe after an overnight search.
The Suffolk County Police Department had issued a Silver Alert early
Sunday morning for Alexa G. Ramirez. A Silver Alert is issued when local
law enforcement are looking to share information
about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
Ramirez, an 11th grade student at Smithtown High School East, suffers from Autism.
