Judge Belvin Perry Says No More Motions For Rehearing Will Be Considered

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry refused Casey Anthony's defense team's request to have a rehearing on grounds that the judge is biased Friday evening.
VIDEO: Motion Denied
Perry issued his ruling just before 5 p.m. In it, he said he will consider no other motions for rehearing.
Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara said the tone of the defense's motion has raised an eyebrow in the legal community.
"If they truly believe he is biased, they should file a motion to recuse. If they don't believe he is biased and don't have good facts to support it, you're not supposed to say it. It would be improper," O'Mara said.
