Casey Anthony attorney slams air tests as 'guesswork'

After a crucial daylong hearing, Casey Anthony's defense team this afternoon launched a sweeping attack on the novel science prosecutors want to use in her murder trial next month.

Attorney Jose Baez slammed both the air-sample tests prosecutors say found evidence of human decomposition in Anthony's Pontiac Sunfire and the state's key air-sample expert, Dr. Arpad Vass.

In referring to Dr. Vass and his method with the air samples, Baez said, "This is not science; this is guesswork."
