ANDREA ADAME - 19 yo - Fontana CA

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a teenager who hasn't
been seen since she told her parents she would be attending the
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, police say.

19-year-old Andrea Adame was last seen on April 14, and last heard from
when she sent her parents a text message that she was headed to
Coachella Fest the weekend of April 15-17, according to the Fontana
Police Department.

It's still not known if the Cal State San
Bernardino student even made it to the concert, though Indio Police
Spokesman Ben Guitron says the department is keeping their eyes out for
the girl.

"There's never been a confirmation that she made it to Indio," Guitron said.

Guitron added that all the Valley agencies-- along with law enforcement nationwide-- have been alerted to the missing teen.

Indio police did double check the Empire Polo Club for any signs of Adame, to no luck, according to Guitron.

A missing 19-year-old college student, thought to have attended the
Coachella music festival in Indio, has apparently been found safe in
Texas, according to police.

Andrea Adame, who attends Cal State San Bernardino, was reported missing by her family in Fontana.

She
was last seen on April 14, and she reportedly sent her parents a text
message that she was headed to Coachella for the weekend.

But
Fontana police say that wasn't the case. Adame apparently hitchiked to
the Lone Star state and caught rides on different big rigs.

Police say Adame called a friend Wednesday night and said she was in Waco, Texas, letting the person know where she was.

Police
in Texas teamed up with Fontana police and searched for Adame. She was
