Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old boy who has been missing since Thursday.

Christopher Patles was last seen in the Marlborough area at 6:30p.m. on March 31st.

Patles is described as a Native male, 5’8”, 140lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was wearing black skinny jeans, black converses shoes, a black t-shirt with a blue pattern on the front and a hoodie believed to be black in colour also.

Patles has a medical condition and police are increasingly concerned about his welfare, especially with weather conditions expected to deteriorate Friday evening.

Anyone with information on Christopher’s whereabouts are asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.

Christopher Patles: SAFE at home

Calgary police say a 12-year-old boy who went missing Thursday has returned home unharmed.

Christopher Patles was last seen at Marlborough Mall by an acquaintance at 6:30 p.m. MT on Thursday. He returned home at 8:15 p.m. Friday and was in good health, police said in a release. No further details were provided.

A major concern was that the boy is on medication and didn't have any with him, police said.

Police said the boy has a history of wandering away, and where he goes and what he does is so unpredictable that tracking him is difficult to do.
