Mental Health Expert Analyzes Casey's Behavior

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- WFTV sat down with a mental health expert on Tuesday to talk about Casey Anthony's unpredictable courtroom behavior. We've seen her laugh, we've seen her cry and we've seen Casey sit with no emotion at all.

Even for the expert, it's really unpredictable to say for sure what is going on in Casey's mind. Obviously, Casey is under a lot of stress and even something as simple as moving from the Orange County jail to the Pinellas County jail, could impact her emotions.

As Judge Belvin Perry told jurors about the charges against Casey Anthony, she broke down in tears.

Licensed mental health counselor Jessica Gilstrap said without interviewing Casey, it's impossible to say for sure what's going on in Casey's mind.

"It's a sad, sad situation," Gilstrap said.

But it is interesting to note that every time she cries, it's when something is said about her.
