Excerpt:

Henry-lee-lucas CLEARWATER, Fla. — After 5 days of questioning candidates and with increasing pressure to seat a jury in Casey Anthony's first-degree murder trial, high drama shifted from the near-collapse of Anthony on Day 4 to the Day 5 dismissal of a potential juror for lying.

Friday the Thirteenth was no lucky day for potential Juror # 1011, who failed to note his DUI arrest on the jury questionnaire and who also denied he was interested in true crime.

Defense attorney Jose Baez asked, “Do you consider yourself a criminal?”

“I made a mistake,” the candidate replied. “Am I a criminal under that?”

Summer reading list? Henry Lucas: Portrait of a Serial Killer

After the man denied any association with true crime, Baez quoted from the candidate’s Amazon.com review of Henry Lucas: Portrait of a Serial Killer.
