ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, was called to testify in her daughter's murder trial for the first time Saturday morning.

Cindy Anthony reported her granddaughter, Caylee Anthony, missing on July 15, 2008, after not seeing the toddler for a month.

In court on Saturday, she said she found out her daughter was pregnant on June 30, 2005, less than two months before Caylee was born.

Cindy Anthony said she had often discussed menstrual issues with her daughter, including bloating that gave them little “bellies.” She said she noticed Casey Anthony putting on weight prior to finding out she was pregnant, but she thought it was due to a decrease in activity and bloating. She said she did not consider that Casey Anthony could be pregnant.

Cindy Anthony broke into tears when showed a photo of Caylee's Winnie the Pooh themed bed.

The state then spent time having Cindy Anthony establish the layout of her home and yard on Hopespring Drive, where her daughter and granddaughter lived. She spoke extensively about locks on doors and how the home was set up.
