JOSHUA THIELEN - 12 yo - Eagle Lake/Polk County FL

Polk County, Florida - At around 8:00 a.m., Saturday,
12-year-old Joshua Thielen was reported missing from his house on McLeod
Road in Eagle Lake by his mother, who is divorced from Joshua's father.
Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office believe Joshua's
father, 46-year-old David Thielen, took Joshua. The child was last seen
wearing a brown t-shirt and plaid shorts. He was skating in front of his home Saturday morning.



Joshua is 4'8" tall and weighs approximately 80 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.



David Thielen, who has brown hair and blue eyes, is approximately
5'8" and weighs around 165 pounds. He drives a red 1995 Lexus, tag
number M24-2SX. Investigators say David, who lives at 3612 S.W. 14th
Place in Cape Coral, told his current wife he was going to pick up Joshua.
There is a court order, though, that prohibits David from having any
contact with Joshua. Detectives have issued a warrant for David Thielen's arrest.
David Thielen has been in trouble with the law in the past. He was
sentenced to two years in prison in 2008 after a drug conviction. He
served about a year before being released in November of 2009.
In December of 2010, he faced burglary, theft and a violation of probation charge.

12-year-old Joshua Thielen has been found and that he is not hurt.
Detectives say David Thielen left the child with a family friend in
Fort Myers. Detectives had issued a warrant for David Thielen's arrest
and said on Sunday that he is still wanted by Polk County Sheriff's
Office detectives.
