Spectators line up to see Casey Anthony

Orlando, FL — Day 18 testimony of the murder trial against Casey Anthony ended with the prosecution getting ready to rest their case.
Testimony did not begin until 1 p.m. on Tuesday after prosecutors wrapped up court early on Monday.
“So far we are ahead of schedule,” Judge Belvin Perry said.
Once the jury left for courtroom for the day, the defense asked for another mistrial. The defense objects to the video of Caylee’s skull superimposed on her photo and to the state introducing the idea. Judge Perry denied the motion.
The state should rest their case on Wednesday morning. If all goes according to plan, the jurors will only be called in for a few minutes. The defense will start on Thursday because their first witness won’t be ready by Wednesday. However, the state isn’t sure they can trust the defense to call anyone tomorrow.
