VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The search is on for a teenage girl who has been missing since Thursday.

According to police, Amber Dawn Pugh, 13, was last seen late Thursday afternoon
when she left her home on R Street to meet a friend. The two had planned
to meet at S&S Mart at 33rd and S Street, investigators said.

Pugh stands 5 feet tall and weighs about 109 pounds. She has short blond hair, blue eyes and dental braces.

The teen was last seen wearing a white tank top with a green peace sign on the front and jean cutoffs.

Anyone with information on the girl's whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Missing 13-year-old Vancouver girl returns home

Amber Pugh, a 13-year-old Vancouver girl who was reported missing, was returned home around 6:20 p.m., hours after police asked the public to help find her.

Pugh's family reported her missing when she didn't return home Thursday evening after leaving to meet friends.
