Police in Alabama have arrested a woman accused of kidnapping a young boy from Kansas in 2009.
Huntsville police investigators say they received information from the Shawnee
County Sheriff's Office Monday that Kathryn Peoples and her now 9
year-old son were possibly in the north Alabama area.

Police say Peoples abducted her son from her Topeka area home in December 2009. Huntsville
police say Noah Peoples-Wallace is safe and is currently in temporary
foster care. His custodial parents are scheduled to reunite
with Noah Thursday in Alabama.
Peoples was wanted for the 2009 abduction of her son who was listed on the
North American Missing Persons Network and the National Center for
Missing and Exploited Children websites.
The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office were unavailable to comment on this case Wednesday.
Kathryn Peoples is being held without bond at the Madison County Metro Jail.
Police arrested Peoples Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Huntsville.
