Ladibug,

It would be interesting if Lunsford lived in the area at the time.

I wish they could find this poor little girl. But if the stepfather had anything to do with it and by chance the missing relatives, then we may never find her.

THE MISSING CELL PHONES-and explanation of why there were three phones on the table:

"Baby Lisa's Grandparents Go Public
The family is posting, publicly, the names of the children (something the press often protects) as well as attempting to explain. Below was sent to me, but the names of the children have been redacted.

Link to photos, released 10/7 9PM
http://www.kmbc.com/slideshow/news/29423242/detail.html
David Lee Netz Jr.
Here is a quick note about the 3 missing cell phones. Debbie's cell phone had been acting up and the speakers and microphone on it were continually only working intermittently. So Sunday October 2 when Debbie, Jeremy, *****, *****, and Lisa came over to Debbie's grandparents (My Mom and Dad) house to celebrate *****'s birthday my Dad gave Debbie his old plain jane phone that has NO way to collect contact information on it. Debbie transferred the service from her old phone to the one that my Dad (her Grandpa) gave her. When she went home later that night she had both of her phones out and started coping numbers one by one into the phone she got from her Grandpa. She didn't get them all done of course so she left them on the table. Jeremy's PERSONAL cell phone was also on the table. These 3 phones were the ones that were stolen.

********* (response) If you are trying to help you should stop . This is stuff the courts are going to want to know and you just posted it to a public cite. There is no changing your story or thier now...
David Lee Netz Jr.
Jeremy also has a WORK phone which he uses for work so he left his cell phone on the table when he went to work. Moving ahead to Tuesday. Debbie was taken to the police station for questioning of course as a routine procedure and Jeremy stayed at the neighbors at that time. Debbie had Jeremy's work phone with her when she went to the police station thinking that she could be contacted once there if necessary. Well she had no idea what was going to happen and Jeremy's WORK cell phone was confiscated. Of course it still has not been returned. So today Tony her brother put Grandma's old phone on our cell plan so that Debbie and Jeremy would have a way to communicate with us. Just want to show people how jumping to conclusions is NOT the way to go. These words are the FACTS. Please, once again I ask, think before you post negative things. This is already hard enough for our family to endure.

****Please note: as things are getting "hard enough" for the family to "endure" we are reminded that Lisa is not
home yet, and that Lisa's young father was unable to "endure" more questions by police to help Lisa
come home. Stopping the questions is sabotaging the investigation. He is too tired? Time to man up.

I don't know a father who would "have enough questions for today" if his child was missing. "

Aliayah Lunsford's disappearance has triggered folks across the state
to team up and try to create a new law that would help missing children.
It's called "Aliayah's Law".

When children go missing there are really only three things that can be
done. 911 can be called, an Amber Alert can be issued, or Project
Lifesaver can be used.

In Aliayah's case the Amber Alert couldn't be issued because there was
no vehicle description or license plate number to share. Project
Lifesaver is mainly used for Alzheimer's or memory loss patients.

The "Aliayah's Law" Facebook group was created in hopes to petition for
a new law that would help protect and find missing children.

One of the goals is to get stronger sentencing for those accused of
child abuse. Another goal is to create county or statewide media pages
to report missing children.

To learn more about the petition check out the "Aliayah Law" Facebook Page.

They Need A Break In The Case

Investigators say they need more help with the case involving the ongoing search for a three year old girl who was reported missing in Lewis County last month.

Harrison County Attorney Tom Dyer says, based on the investigation up to to this point, law enforcement officers are now much less optimistic that they'll be able to find Aliayah Lunsford alive.

Dyer told MetroNews Affiliate WAJR-FM in Clarksburg the investigation has gone almost as far as it can.

"It's going to be one of those incredibly difficult cases to develop further evidence and, as a result, I want to brace the listening public for a period of time that may involve little, if any, news about any further developments in this case," Dyer said.

He says investigators have been able to eliminate several persons of interest and possible suspects and are focusing on a small group of people who may have been involved in the girl's disappearance.

Lunsford was reported missing on Saturday, September 24th.

FBI: "Little Hope" Missing 3-Year-Old Girl is Still Alive

UPDATE 10/14/11 @ 2:15 p.m.

LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The FBI is comparing the case of a missing three year old from Lewis County to a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.

A spokesperson with the FBI says the taskforce has put more pieces of the puzzle together, but the case is still not solved.

Aliayah Lunsford went missing from her home in Bendale, West Virginia on September 24.

During a news conference Friday, the FBI said "they have limited hope she (Aliayah) is alive."

Aliayah's mom, Lena Lunsford said she had checked on her daughter about three hours before she realized she had vanished.

For weeks, hundreds of volunteers and several law enforcement agencies searched for Aliayah.

The taskforce says it has narrowed its timeline significantly and it has obtained a lot of video evidence from home and government security cameras. The FBI is asking anyone else with potential video that would help the case to come forward.

The FBI also announced during the news conference Friday that they do not believe any other children are at risk.

Investigators haven't ruled anything out when it comes to the case. However, they have limited the possibilities to three scenarios, including concealment, abduction or a homicide.

The FBI says this is a serious case and it is still investigating it everyday.

Some community members who attended the news conference tell WSAZ.com they are frustrated no new information was released.

During the news conference, investigators would not say if they have any suspects or persons of interest in the case.

Keep clicking on WSAZ.com for the very latest information.

Crying or Very sad Afraid another precious child is gone too soon. explode When is this going to stop, leave the children alone--if you don't want them anymore then take them somewhere safe and sign off your parental rights.

snap Both of these parents need the shit slapped out of them & I hope children services takes those twins the minute they are born, these people don't deserve any children. If LE k9 didn't come onto this precious child's scent until close to the river then it is safe to say somebody carried her there, she sure didn't fly.

More than 1,000 purple
balloons were released into the sky in Weston Monday during a vigil to
mark one month since the disappearance of a three-year-old girl.

Aliayah Lunsford disappeared
from her Bendale home on Sept. 24. Her mother reported her missing
after an initial search of the community.
Since then, community members
and federal investigators have relentlessly searched for the girl and
any clues related to her disappearance.
At this point, officials with the FBI say there are few leads in the case.

Teresa Hathaway, who organized Monday's event, says they're trusting investigators.
"They know what they are doing," Hathaway said of investigators. "They can't release what they do
have and we understand it, but it's still so frustrating that we have nothing."

Aliayah's mother, Lena Lunsford, was arrested by federal authorities last week on a charge of
allegedly selling federal food stamp benefits to another person. The FBI
called it an ancillary investigation.
The FBI also said last week there was little hope that Aliayah was still alive.
Hathaway says she and many others are still holding out hope. She says she doesn't regret the many
hours she has volunteered during the past month.

"I'm a grandmother and she's the same age as two of my grandchildren and your heart just kind of
melts, especially when it's a small child," she said. "It kind of takes over from there."

Community members say they'll continue to search for Aliayah. Groups in several other states also
released purple balloons Monday to honor Aliayah.

Still No Word On Missing Lewis County Girl

Frustration is starting to set in for the volunteers who helped search for missing Aliayah Lunsford, 3, in Lewis County.

Teresa Hathaway helped search the Lewis County community of Bendale
in the days following Aliayah's disappearance on September 24th. She
also organized a vigil for the little girl earlier this week.

She says word that the investigation has shifted west from Bendale to
a rural part of Gilmer County has had a mixed impact on emotions.

"Everyone is just frustrated," Hathaway told MetroNews. "We're not
getting any information and it's very frustrating. But, at the same
time, I guess the investigation is starting to move along pretty
quick."

FBI officials are not saying much about the change in location other
than to say the move is based on "valuable information" received from
public tips.

Hathaway says she and dozens of others are waiting for word from
investigators. "Everybody is just anxious for word from the FBI. Maybe
we can help start searching again."

In the meantime, Hathaway says she and a lot of others are staying busy, helping in other ways.

"We're still trying to spread the word on Facebook. We have 3,000
fliers that we're putting in different cities, getting them outside of
Lewis County."

There's a lot of prayer going on as well. Hathaway says they have not given up hope Aliayah will be found safe and sound.

"It's all we got. We've got to hold on to it," she said.

WESTON,
W.Va. — The mother of a 3-year-old Lewis County girl missing for nearly
six weeks has been indicted on multiple counts of welfare fraud,
accused of swapping credits on her food stamp card for $50 cash five
times in two months.

Lena Lunsford, 29, of Weston is charged with conspiracy to defraud
the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and five related
fraud counts for knowingly selling her federal benefits, U.S. Attorney
William Ihlenfeld said Tuesday.

She could get more than 10 years in prison if convicted, and federal
prosecutors are seeking to have her forfeit the money she made.

Lunsford’s public defender, Brian Kornbrath, didn’t immediately return telephone and email messages.

Lunsford’s daughter Aliayah vanished from the family’s home near
Bendale on Sept. 24. Investigators consider her disappearance a crime
but have made no arrests and named no suspects.

Lena Lunsford told police her daughter was in bed that morning at
6:30, but there’s been no sign of the child since. Aliayah is about 3
feet tall and 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last
seen wearing purple pajama bottoms and a pink sweat shirt.

At the time of the disappearance, Lena Lunsford was eight months
pregnant with twins and had four other children, from 9 months to 11
years old.

The indictment, handed up by a grand jury in Clarksburg on Tuesday,
accuses Lunsford of providing her SNAP card and personal identification
number to someone known to the grand jury in exchange for cash twice in
September and three times in October.

Most of the transactions occurred at a Shop ’N Save grocery store and a Wal-Mart.

The amounts ranged from $97.59 to $130.80, but each time, she was
paid $50, the indictment says. The last attempt was Oct. 15 and involved
$114.82.

I'm so sick of losers like this cow. Why do we condone the continual breeding of these sort of low-lifes while we all have to pay? What did you do to Aliayah? We all need to refuse to pay our taxes as a protest until our governments stop wasting our hard earned money on these bludgers IMO.

The wench probably sold her daughter...as that would follow the pattern she uses with her government benefits. I wish we could do something to stop these people from having kids just to get benefits. Makes me sick. We all pay for their kids while we limited how many we had to make sure we could provide all they needed. I hear you loud and clear!

5 NEWS UPDATE (11/3)

At a press conference held Thursday, the FBI announced that they will
be offering a formal $20,000 reward for information that leads to the
arrest or conviction of those involved in the Aliayah Lunsford Case.
Tune in to First at 5 for the latest details.

ORIGINAL STORY (11/2)

Wednesday marks 40 days since Aliayah Lunsford was last seen in her
Lewis County home and there's no word on where she may be. Her great
aunt, Vickie Bowen, says Aliayah's disappearance has resulted in many
sleepless nights and they want to see her safely returned.

Bowen is doing something many of us may never do, and that's put her
number out in the public for anyone to call. She's begging anyone with
information to please call her, even if you don't want to release your
identity.

Bowen released the following statement:

"I am begging, if anyone knows anything at all about where this child
is, please call me at 304-493-9549. I will come and get her and I will
ask no questions. Please we just want her home! You don't even have to
tell me who you are, just arrange
for me to pick her up. You don't have to be there. Tell me where she is
an leave her there, Just please keep her safe. She is loved by so
many. Please do this, we want her home!! If there is anyone out there
with information and doesn't feel comfortable with calling 911 or the
authorities for whatever reason, CALL ME PLEASE. You don't have to tell
me who you are. Please, if you know ANYTHING that will help, call me.
304-493-9549 You can call me collect from a pay phone if you feel more
confident in doing that."

The family will not say their
personal opinions on what happened to Aliayah but they want to see
whoever is responsible be fully prosecuted.

Aliayah's disappearance is still being investigated as a murder, a concealment or an abduction.

UPDATE: Lunsford Doesn't Appear In Person For Arraignment
Staff
Elkins

The mother of missing Lewis County three-year-old Aliayah Lunsford chose not to appear in person Tuesday for her arraignment on federal fraud charges in U.S. District Court in Elkins.

Lena Lunsford, 29, of Bendale, instead signed a waiver and a "not guilty" plea was entered on her behalf.

Lunsford allegedly sold her food stamp cards five times in September and October at a price of $50 each.

Lunsford was taken into custody by federal authorities during their investigation of her daughter's disappearance. Aliayah was last seen Sept. 24. Investigators say the charges against the mother are ancillary to the search for her daughter.

A trial date for Lena Lunsford will be scheduled in a few days.

WESTON, W.Va. —
The
mother of a 3-year-old Lewis County girl missing for more than six weeks
says she believes her daughter is still alive and urges the public to
keep looking for her.
Lena Lunsford issued a statement to media
outlets through a Huntington law firm late Wednesday. It's her first
public comment since her daughter Aliayah vanished from their Bendale
home in Lewis County on Sept. 24.
Investigators are treating the disappearance as a crime but have made no arrests and named no suspects.
In
the three-paragraph statement, Lena Lunsford thanks the investigators
who are working the case and said she continues to fully cooperate.
"I believe in my heart that Aliayah is alive. That belief is keeping me going through these horrible days," the statement says.
"Please
keep Aliayah, my other children and our entire family in your prayers,"
it adds. "I believe the person or persons who are responsible for this
nightmare will see justice soon."
Last week, the FBI announced
it's offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and
conviction. Authorities have offered no clues about what they think may
have happened to the child.
Lunsford, 29, told police her daughter
was in bed at 6:30 a.m. the day she disappeared but was gone when
Lunsford checked on her later. Aliayah is about 3 feet tall and 35
pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing purple
pajama bottoms and a pink sweat shirt.
At the time of the
disappearance, Lena Lunsford was eight months pregnant with twins and
had four other children, from 9 months to 11 years old.
It's unclear whether she's since given birth. Her attorney, Michael Woelfel, declined to comment on that Thursday.
Lunsford has lost custody of the other children to state child-welfare authorities since Aliayah disappeared.
Lunsford
was indicted last week on multiple counts of welfare fraud and pleaded
not guilty this week. She's accused of swapping credits on her food
stamp card for $50 cash five times in two months.
Her public defender in that case, Brian Kornbrath, has not responded to telephone and email messages.

WESTON, W.Va. — The mother of a 3-year-old Lewis County girl missing for more than six weeks has given birth to twin girls.

Attorney Michael Woelfel says Lena Lunsford delivered late Thursday. He said Friday he believes the babies remain hospitalized.

Woelfel
says Circuit Judge Thomas Keadle has issued a gag order prohibiting
comment on the status of the older children, so he won't comment on the
babies.

Their sibling, Aliayah (uh LEE uh), has been missing since Sept. 24, when she vanished from the family home in Bendale.

Woelfel won't say which hospital is caring for the babies or whether state child-welfare authorities are expected to take them.

The Department of Health and Human Resources removed
four other children between 10 months and 11 years old from Lunsford's
care after Aliayah vanished.

Woelfel says Circuit Judge Thomas Keadle has issued a
gag order prohibiting comment on the status of the older children, so he
won't comment on the babies.

Two new posters were released Monday in regards to missing 3-year-old
Aliayah Lunsford. Both the FBI and the West Virginia Fusion Center
released new flyers about Aliayah, whom they're calling missing and
endangered.

"It's important to note that there are two. The West Virginia Fusion
Cell took responsibility for releasing the first one, the FBI took
responsibility for releasing the other one adn tehy're freely available
for the public to take a look at and we've also made copies and more
copies are available if people want to distribute them," says FBI
Special Agent Jeff Killeen.

The picture on the Fusion Center's flyer was supposedly taken just days before Aliayah was reported missing.

In it, you can see a bruise on the left side of her face. There's no word on where this bruise originated.

"I don't know the origin of any of the marks on the child. I wouldn't
want to comment on that. That could be from a number of different
sources. I do not know," says Jeff Killeen.

Killeen says the FBI was given this picture by a member of Aliayah's
extended family with the approval to release to the public. As far as
investigators know, this is the most recent picture taken of the little
girl.

"We're continuing our efforts just to find the child and we believe
that having a new picture out here, the most recent picture that we know
of of the child before she went missing, may spur someone's memory as
to where this child was or maybe her movements right before she went
missing," Killeen says.

The FBI is still offering a $20,000 reward for anyone who leads
investigators to her whereabouts. You can call the Fusion Center with
this information at 1-866-WVWATCH or 304-558-6592.

Agents say independent groups may still search for the little girl.

ALIAYAH LUNSFORD - 3 yo (2011) - Lewis Cty/ Weston WV - Page 2 Empty Re: ALIAYAH LUNSFORD - 3 yo (2011) - Lewis Cty/ Weston WV

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The mother of a 3-year-old Lewis County girl
missing for nearly two months should be ordered into substance abuse
treatment because a state trooper caught her with synthetic drugs called
bath salts, a probation officer says.
In a petition filed with
U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, pretrial services officer Brian
Kilgore also asks the court to order home incarceration for 29-year-old
Lena Lunsford while she awaits trial on federal welfare fraud charges.
The
petition argues court intervention is necessary because Lunsford is
demonstrating "a lack of willingness to fully cooperate with the
conditions of her supervision, and she appears to be selectively
censoring what she wants her supervising officer to know."
On Wednesday, U.S. Magistrate John Kaull scheduled a bond revocation hearing for Nov. 28 in Elkins.
Lunsford's
public defender, Brian Kornbrath, didn't immediately return messages.
Her private attorney, who is not handling the criminal case, declined
comment.
Lunsford's daughter Aliayah vanished from their Bendale
home Sept. 24 and has not been seen since. Investigators are treating
her disappearance as a crime but have yet to name any suspects. Nor have
they said what they believe happened to the child.
Weeks after
Aliayah's disappearance, Lunsford was indicted on multiple counts of
welfare fraud. Federal prosecutors say she swapped credits on her food
stamp card for $50 cash five times in two months. Last week, Lunsford
pleaded not guilty.
One of the conditions of her pretrial release,
spelled out in an Oct. 17 court order, was to refrain from using drugs.
Handwritten on the document are the words, "including bath salts."

Wow I wonder if Lena Lunsford took the drug "bath salts" while she was pregnant. I've never heard of it before and had to look it up. It's possible if she was on this drug or something else, that she hurt Aliayah and tried to make it look like she was kidnapped which seems to be the rave right now among some parents. Has anyone noticed all the missing kids. It's unbelievable. When is it going to end???

Hearing Monday For Mother Of Missing Girl
Elkins, Randolph County

A bond revocation hearing is scheduled for Monday for the
mother of a missing three year old girl who is facing unrelated federal charges.

Lena Lunsford, 29, from Bendale in Lewis County is awaiting a trial
on federal welfare fraud charges. A probation officer says she should
be on home confinement and ordered to undergo substance abuse treatment
until then after she was allegedly caught with synthetic drugs called bath salts.

In a petition filed in U.S. District Court, the probation officer says Lunsford is not meeting supervision requirements.

Lunsford has pled not guilty to the welfare fraud charges. She is accused of selling her federal food stamp cards for cash.

FBI officials say the charges against Lunsford are not connected to
the disappearance of her daughter, Aliayah, who is three. The little
girl was reported missing on September 24th and there has been no sign of her since.

Monday's bond revocation hearing will be held in Elkins Federal Court.

Court Documents Say Lena Lunsford Violated Her Bond

The mother of missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford may have violated her bond in a food stamp fraud case.

Officers apparently found Lena Lunsford in constructive possession of bath salts and now want her under house arrest and treated for substance abuse. If it is found that her husband Ralph is the only user, they may have to live apart until he complies with counseling.

Paperwork from the U.S. District Court in Clarksburg indicate a state trooper found bath salts in a car that the Lunsfords were in on November 1.

Lena will stand trial on January 17 in Elkins for charges related to selling her families food stamps for money.

Meanwhile, investigators continue to search for her daughter and released a new photo of Aliayah this week.

The picture was supposedly taken days before her disappearance and shows a bruise on the left side of her face.

Aliayah Lunsford missing - Bendale, Lewis County, WV

It is past time that Aliayah Lunsford got national attention. The West Virginia media have done a great job of keeping Aliayah's name "out there" even though there has been limited info from Law Enforcement to report.

Sierra1947 has uploaded, to YouTube, the Nancy Grace Show which aired 12-1-11 and the majority of the show was about Aliayah gone missing, etc.

_____

I have followed Aliayah's story closely. If you are interested in reading numerous main stream media articles and videos, please see Aliayah's thread at Reality Chatter (RC). You do not have to be a member to read in the Forum at RC.

There are currently 25 pages with mostly main stream media articles/videos. Although Lena and Ralph Lunsford don't seem to care about making any pleas for Aliayah, attending vigils, handing out flyers, etc., there are extended family members, such as a great-aunt putting forth the effort.

As of now, Aliayah's thread at RC has over 10,600 hits (views). That is remarkable considering Aliayah had very little national media coverage.

Although Aliayah's mother, Lena, and stepfather, Ralph Lunsford, can't be bothered with efforts to find Aliayah, there are many who are concerned about Aliayah being found.

I guess Lena is too busy committing welfare fraud and Ralph is too busy buying "bath salts."

Per FBI Special Agent Jeff Killeen, this is a more recent pic of Aliayah prior to her gone missing. This pic was taken a few weeks before Aliayah went missing. SA Killeen believes it is the last known image of Aliayah before she went missing.

It's been over 10 weeks since 3 year old Aliayah Lunsford was reported missing from her Lewis County home.

Family and friends were out tonight, in a continued effort to help end that search.

The family members were out Friday night in Clarksburg's Christmas
Parade, where they were continuing to spread the word about the missing 3
year old.

They were passing out descriptions of the little girl, so folks know
what to look for. They are also doing what they can to make sure people
don't give up hope.

"Do not give up hope and thank you all so much for your support, your
prayers, just thinking of Aliayah. Everybody's important in this
mission. This is a little 3 year old child we need to bring home.
Everything everybody's doing, whether it's passing her information on
Facebook, passing her picture out at Wal-Mart, whatever. Let's keep her
face out there and let's keep people looking for her," said Vickie
Bowen.

The family also asks that hunters keep an eye out, because they're
going across land that law enforcement has not covered. If you see
anything suspicious at all, you're asked to call State Police right
away.
