More slideshows » Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old who may be with an older boyfriend who beat her during a previous incident. Harlingen police told Action 4 News that Samantha Liane Loredo was last seen on the night of Monday, October 17th. The 16-year-old girl told her mother via cell phone that she wanted to return home but couldn’t come back yet. Investigators said Laredo has previously been the victim of an aggravated assault at the hands of her boyfriend Antonio Reyes. Police said Reyes was recently released from the Cameron County Jail for the incident. Investigators are not sure if 16-year-old Loredo is hiding or may be in danger. Harlingen police told Action 4 News that Samantha Liane Loredo was last seen on the night of Monday, October 17th.
The 16-year-old girl told her mother via cell phone that she wanted to return home but couldn’t come back yet.
Investigators said Laredo has previously been the victim of an aggravated assault at the hands of her boyfriend Antonio Reyes.
Police said Reyes was recently released from the Cameron County Jail for the incident.
Investigators are not sure if 16-year-old Loredo is hiding or may be in danger.
Family members told Action 4 News that a detective found Loredo at home in Harlingen.
The girl is back home safe and sound.
