The LACEY Children - 11, 9 and 4 yo - Columbus OH

COLUMBUS, Ohio --
A West Side mother and her three children are missing, and the children may need medical attention, Columbus police says.

Lisa Lacey and her three children walked away from their West Side home Monday evening and haven't returned.

Lisa's husband said his wife has left for days at a time before but this time it is unusual. CPD did not elaborate on what it is unusual about this particular disappearance.

Lisa's family talked to her on her cell phone Monday afternoon, before she left her home with the children.


Lisa is a 40-year-old white female. She has black hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds.

Daniel E. Lacey Jr., 11, is a white male. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs between 90 and 100 pounds.

Joyann Lacey, 9, is a white female. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She is 4 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds.

Jacob J. Lacey, 4, is a white male. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is 3 feet tall and weighs between 50 and 60 pounds.

Detectives said the children may need medical attention but didn't say why or for what.

CPD issued a missing alert at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio --

A West Side mother and her three children have been found safe and unharmed.

Lisa Lacey and her three children walked away from their West Side home Monday evening.

CPD issued a missing alert at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The alert was canceled at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, with CPD only saying the four were found safe and unharmed.

No other details were released, but NBC4 will update as we learn new information.

Woman, kids return home safe

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police say Lisa Lacey and her three children returned safely to their West Side home Tuesday.

Lacey, 40, and her three children walked away from their home Monday evening, Missing Person Unit detective Lisa Perry said.
