Angela Hanna pleaded not guilty to murder and child cruelty charges in
connection with the death of her three-year-old daughter.
Hanna, 29, was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Kern County Superior Court in Bakersfield.
She was arrested on May 8.
Hanna is being held on $2,020,000 bail and is due back in court on May 31.
She is accused of knowing of the abuse her daughter, Trinity Monique
Hanna, was undergoing at the hands of her boyfriend, Eric Foster, but
doing nothing to stop it.
Foster, 26, is charged with first degree murder and torture and could potentially face the death penalty.
Angela Hanna is charged with second-degree murder, willful cruelty to a
child and assault on a child under 8 causing great bodily injury.
Trinity Hanna died on Jan. 24 after her mother drove her to a Bakersfield hospital seeking treatment for a head injury.
Foster was detained early the next morning and arrested later in the day.

The mother of a 3-year-old girl who died from blunt force head trauma and abdominal injuries pleaded no contest Monday to four counts of willful cruelty to a child.

In return, charges of second-degree murder and assault on a child under 8 resulting in great bodily injury were dismissed against Angela Monique Hanna, according to Kern County Superior Court records. She is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 14.

Hanna's daughter, Trinity Hanna, died Jan. 24. Kern County sheriff's deputies reports filed in court say Angela Hanna's boyfriend, Eric Foster, confessed to physically abusing and killing Trinity.

Angela Hanna failed to report signs of the abuse, the reports say.

Foster has pleaded not guilty and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18.

Do you really think a judge would have required $2,020,000 in bail if what this bitch did wasn't horrendous?

FYI, we were not misinformed, you were. You need a dictionary, being uninformed has nothing to do with the level of education a person has achieved, or in your case, failed to achieve.

I hope both these POS monsters get sent away for a long time. And if Angela Hanna is pregnant, she never gets to see the child again. She should never be allowed children again.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The mother of a 3-year-old Taft girl who died early this year has pleaded "no contest" to four felony counts of willful cruelty to a child.

Angela Vickrey, also known as Angela Hanna, entered the plea Monday in Kern County court. Charges of assault on a child and second-degree murder were dismissed.

Trinity Hanna died in January after Vickrey rushed her to Bakersfield's San Joaquin Community Hospital. Medical staff found suspicious injuries and couldn't save the child's life.

The mother's live-in boyfriend was arrested on murder, torture and child abuse charges. Eric Foster, who also goes by the last name of Luna, is accused of injuring Trinity.

Kern County Sheriff's investigators said the mother didn't report the abuse her child had endured.

Court documents state Foster admitted to investigators that he physically abused the child on at least three occasions.

Foster has a preliminary court hearing later this month. The mother is scheduled for sentencing in November.

Sad that there was a previous case of abuse on this guy and they did not do anything.


How could anyone look into that angels face and abuse her. He should be castrated and hung.

Good news. There will finally be some justice for Trinity. I hope her POS mother is put away for a long time. I wish they would sterilize that dirtbag woman so she can't have any more precious children.

Eric Foster was will go on trial on charges of murder, torture and child abuse in connection with the death of Trinity Monique Hanna.

Foster, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, was ordered to stand trial on all five counts filed against him after he was arrested on Jan. 26, 2012, the day after Trinity's mother drove her to a hospital in Bakersfield where she was pronounced dead.

An autopsy showed she has suffered severe head and abdominal trauma, injuries that Foster is accused of inflicting

Foster's preliminary hearing, delayed several times, was held in Kern County Superior Court on Wednesday.

The court found there was sufficient evidence to bind Foster over for trial on charges of first degree murder, torture, assault on a child under age 8 by a custodial adult resulting in great bodily injury, and two counts of willful cruelty to a child.

Foster, who is being held without bail, could face the death penalty, although the Kern County District Attorney's Office has yet to announce whether it will seek execution for Foster if he is convicted.

Foster, who will turn 28 next week, will be back in court on March 11.

Trinity's mother, Angela Monique Hanna, has already pleaded guilty to several child abuse counts and faces up to 10 years in prison, but she is required to testify truthfully against Foster at his trial.
