GYASI FRANCIS - 10 yo - Cobb Cty/ Atlanta GA

Cobb police are looking for missing 10-year-old Gyasi Francis.

He was last seen Wednesday at about 8 p.m. at his home on Powers Ferry Road.

Francis is described as a black male, 4'8" tall and 65 pounds.

He has black hair, brown eyes and is possibly wearing jeans, a black coat and a red skull-type cap.

East Cobb Boy Missing for 2nd Time

Police seek public help to find Gyasi Francis, 10, who turned out to be safe after he disappeared for a night in the fall.


A 10-year-old boy is missing in East Cobb three months after he caused a scare by disappearing Halloween night.

Gyasi Francis was last seen at his home on Powers Ferry Road about 8 p.m. Wednesday, Cobb County police spokesman Officer Mike Bowman said in an announcement.

Police ask anyone with information about Gyasi’s location to call 911 or the Crimes Against Children Unit at 770-801-3470.

Gyasi is 4-foot-8 and about 65 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He possibly is wearing jeans, a black coat and a red skullcap, Bowman said.

Police also asked for the public’s help in finding Gyasi on Nov. 1 after he went missing on Halloween.

In that case, it turned out that the boy had been grounded but snuck
out to go trick-or-treating. He then spent the night with a friend to avoid trouble at home.

Gyasi was brought home before school the next morning about an hour after police put out the alert that he was missing.

Gyasi Francis was found safe overnight. He was originally reported
missing from his home around 8 p.m. Police say employees of a nearby
business found him at about 1:30 a.m. Police do not suspect foul play.
