HANNAH MEDINA - 16 yo - Mansfield OH

MANSFIELD -- Hannah Medina's whereabouts have taken on a sense of urgency.

Medina initially thought her 16-year-old had run away, but now she's
not so sure. Hannah has Type 1 juvenile diabetes and needs four insulin
shots each day.
"We don't know if she has her medicine or not,"
Medina said. "That's what keeps her alive. If she doesn't get that, she
will die."
Medina filed a report Sunday afternoon, telling police
Hannah had been leaving home without permission for the past few weeks.
Medina thinks Hannah might be with her boyfriend, Martin Cruise.
"She
normally doesn't go more than six hours without contacting anyone,"
Medina said. "As close as we are ... she's never not called my mom. She
always contacts her grandma, no matter what.
"It's almost like she's missing."
When
Medina last saw Hannah, she was wearing a black hoodie with the word
"Pink" written on the back in silver lettering. Hannah was looking for a
Band-Aid in her mother's truck.
"By the time I got out there, she was gone," Medina said.
Hannah
is a sophomore at Mansfield Senior High School. She is 5 feet, 5 inches
tall and weighs 130 pounds. Hannah has dark brown hair and green eyes.

-- A diabetic 16-year-old girl who ran away from home Sunday is safe and sound.Hannah Medina went to her grandmother's residence Wednesday morning.
"Once she saw that she was in the paper, she decided to turn herself in," Mansfield police Detective Chris Brunk said.
Hannah talked to city police Wednesday morning, then left with her mother and grandmother.
