Unnamed Newborn Twins - 2 Months - Columbis GA

Columbus police are investigating a case of possible child abuse, after a set of twins is taken to the hospital for injuries.

Officials say a two-month old boy was
transported to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta on May 8th. They
say just two days later, the baby's twin sister was diagnosed with three
broken ribs.

Police put the twins in foster care until the investigation is complete.

The children's grandmother declined to speak
to NBC 38 on camera, but says she should have custody of the infants in
the next few days. While the children's parents are under investigation
for the alleged abuse, she says the twins have loving parents.
