22-year-old Milwaukee woman arrested for felony child abuse

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested Tuesday
afternoon, February 12th for felony child abuse after she allegedly
dropped her one-year-old daughter down concrete steps.

According to police, a witness observed the 22-year-old woman drop
her daughter down concrete stairs before approaching a passing Milwaukee
squad car and telling police she no longer wanted the child.

The child was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening facial injuries.

The mother was arrested for felony child abuse, and remains in police custody.
