A former Christian radio host admitted in a Michigan courtroom that he photographed sex acts with a 12-year-old boy.
John Balyo, 34, pleaded guilty July 29 to sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography, according to MLive.com. He could face 50 years in prison.

“I performed a sexual act as described and I knowingly possessed the images on my camera,” Balyo said in court in Grand Rapids, according to the report. “I knew it was wrong.”
Calhoun County Jail Balyo faces as many as 50 years in prison.

Balyo, a former host at Christian stationWCSG Radio in Grand Rapids, admitted to photographing the sex acts at a Kalamazoo County hotel. He is facing more charges involving the 12-year-old, and is also facing a charge involving an 11-year-old boy, MLive.com reported.

Authorities say that Balyo paid 42-year-old Ronald Moser to set up the meetings with the boys.

The 12-year-old victim was tied to the hotel bed with restraints, and handcuffs were used on the boy's hands and feet, Assistant U.S. Attorney Tessa Hessmiller told MLive.com. She also said the boy was paid by Balyo.

Balyo was axed from his job following his June arrest.
