Knightdale police looking for missing teenager

KNIGHTDALE POLICE
KNIGHTDALE — Police are looking for a missing 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Oct. 1.
Jalana Fisher was last seen on the 900 block of Laurens Way around 3:15. Police said they do not think she is in danger.
Fisher is black with black hair and a red streak on the left side. She is about 5’4”. Police do not know what she was wearing when she went missing.
Because police do not believe Fisher to be in danger, there was not an Amber Alert issued for her disappearance.
Amber Alerts are issued for children under 17 taken by an abductor or a parent who may endanger the child. They are not issued for runaways or children who are “voluntarily missing,” the North Carolina Department of Public Safety website says.
Anyone who sees Fisher or may have information about her whereabouts is asked to call Knightdale police at 217-2261 or 911.
