A 12-year-old girl was reported missing Sunday from a rural section of Blount County.
Tarah Ann Boivin was last seen leaving her home on Lawson Branch Rd. in the Ellejoy community around 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

A Blount Co. Sheriff's Office spokesperson said investigators do not
suspect foul play in the case. They think the girl wandered away with a
large white dog.
Boivin has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5'2" tall, and weighs 90-to-95 pounds. She wears glasses.

Authorities do not have a clothing description.

Investigators said she is not known to wander off for this
length of time. Her family lives in a very rural part of the county,
with woods on the backside of their residence.

A Knox County sheriff's helicopter was assisting with the
search, and some residents in Blount County reported receiving reverse
911 calls with Boivin's information.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Tarah is asked to call the Blount County Communication Center at 983-3620.

TARAH ANN BOIVIN - 12 yo - Blount County/Knoxville TN Empty Tarah Ann - FOUND SAFE

Post by TomTerrific0420 Tue Aug 04, 2009 2:46 pm

Crews found a 12-year-old girl Monday morning who was missing in Blount County. Tarah Ann Boivin disappeared from her home on Lawson Branch Road, in the Ellejoy Community, around 10:00 Sunday morning. She
was found with her dog on the back porch of a home on W. Millers Cove
Road. Officials said she was safe and in good condition, just a bit
cold. Apparently, she got a ride from someone who drove her to that area on Sunday. When
she and her family first moved to Blount County, they rented a
residence on W. Millers Cove Road, the sheriff's office said. Tarah had even brought dog food with her to feed her dog.
