SAMANTHA BOONE - 13 yo - Cleveland County NC

Cleveland County authorities are asking the public's help in finding a 13-year-old girl who detectives say is a runaway.
The missing teen is Samantha Deana Boone.
Detectives
say she was last seen Aug. 17 at her father's house on Crown Court,
near Kings Mountain. She was visiting her father at the time of her
disappearance.
Boone is a white female, 5-2 and 115 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Detectives
say Boone has been entered in the National Crime Information Center
computer data base as a runaway juvenile. They say that anyone who
helps the girl in eluding police is subject to prosecution.

Sheriff’s detectives reported Wednesday that they have located
13-year-old Samantha Deanna Boone, who had previously run away from her
father’s residence in the 100 block of Crown Court, Kings Mountain.
She was located after a resident recognized her from a news article,
according to the Cleveland County Sheriff's office. The resident, who
wished to remain anonymous, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that they
saw the girl at a residence in Shelby.
Persons at that residence cooperated with detectives and Boone gave detectives no problems during her recovery.
No charges have been filed at this point, but the matter remains
under investigation. Boone lives in Gaston County, but was visiting her
father when she went missing.
