Police ask for help finding missing child

The Birmingham Police Department asked for help Monday in finding a missing child.


Birmingham police said Synthia McDonald, 11, of Carroll Drive in Birmingham was last seen by her mother Friday at 6 p.m.
Police describe McDonalds as a white female, 5'5" tall, 116 lbs., brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing black pants, black shirt, and a black hoody. McDonald also goes by the nickname Syn.

If anyone has information pertaining to the case, they are asked to contact the Birmingham Police Department Family Services Unit at (205) 297-8413 or Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.

An 11 year old girl who was missing, has been located, and is ok.
The Birmingham Police Department reported that Synthia McDonald, 11, of Birmingham, was last seen Friday, August 28, 2009.
McDonald was classified as a runaway after investigators located her.
