Police are searching for a Sandy Ridge teenager, who has been missing for more than two weeks.The
Stokes County Sheriff's Office identified the endangered runaway
juvenile as 15-year-old Aaron Monroe Hawks, of 1695 Doug Stanley Road
in Sandy Ridge.Hawk's grandmother, Marie Boyd Hawks, said that her grandson left their
residence at about 1 p.m. on Sept. 20 to look for transportation to his
girlfriend's house in Pilot Mountain. She said he left their home
without his needed breathing medication.Police described Hawks
as standing 6 feet 1 inches and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair
and green eyes and was last seen wearing a red/orange T-shirt with a
blue and white stripe down the side.

Stokes County officials are searching for a missing teen who was last seen looking for a ride to Surry County three weeks ago.

Aaron Monroe Hawks, 15, of Doug Stanley Road, Sandy Ridge, in the northeast
section of Stokes County, was reported missing Sept. 20 by his
grandmother, Marie Hawks.

According to the missing persons
report from the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office, the juvenile left his
residence around 1 p.m. that day.

His grandmother told officials he was searching for transportation to his girlfriend’s home in Pilot Mountain.

“From the information obtained through this case, Aaron has been reported to
have left his residence without his needed breathing medication,”
reported Capt. Craig Carico of the Stokes Sheriff’s Office.

Hawks
is described as a white male with brown hair and green eyes. He is 6’1”
tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red/orange
T-shirt with a blue and white stripe down the side.

Anyone who has seen this juvenile or knows of his whereabouts should contact the
