An Anderson County teen reported missing is now back with her family.State police found 14-year-old Chelsey Deshazer in Bourbon County, Ky., about 40 miles from home.Police said the teen's disappearance was linked to social networking sites.Police said the teen was with an adult male."I
went to get her up for church Sunday morning around 9, 9:30," said
Christy Ball, Deshazer's mother. "I knocked on her door it was locked."Ball
said her daughter didn't come to the door, so Ball went outside, where
she saw the screen popped out of her daughter's bedroom window and the
window cracked open."And then I unlocked her door and found she wasn't there," she said.Ball said Deshazer's nightgown was in the teen's room, but her daughter's gray sweatpants and blue T-shirt were missing.A friend told police they saw a vehicle outside Ball's home around 1 a.m.

Deshazer was found almost 24 hours later in Paris, Ky. Police said she was with
an adult male who they believe the teen met on a social networking site."I
think you have to use precaution any time you use any type of
electronic means to meet people," said Kentucky State Trooper Ron
Turley.Turley said police used social networking sites and cell
phone records to figure out who the teen might have talked with before
she ran away."One good thing about it is it does leave a good
paper trail, so we're able to track down a lot of leads through
electronic means to either locate people or whether it's phone records
or whatever, it may be to help us solve cases," he said.Ball said she had blocks on her home computer to prevent her teenage daughter from using popular networking sites."I've
had parental controls on my computer," she said. "I've blocked
Facebook, and the other ones, MySpace. But evidently there's way to get
around the blocking."Police are still investigating the case,
but said if a juvenile willingly goes with an adult and disobeys the
teen's parents, the adult is still responsible."As adults, we're
held to a higher standard, especially when it comes to juveniles and
kids," Turley said. "So a lot of adults get into trouble that way. They
go along with the juvenile but the law says the adult is supposed to
know better."
