Police recovered missing 14-year-old Natalie Holler Tuesday, Jan.
12, after the North Bend-girl called 911 from the Daffodil Motel in
Milton. A 47-year-old white male has been arrested and booked on
kidnapping, drug and other charges, according to the Federal Way Police
Department.
NATALIE HOLLER - 14 yo - North Bend WA 68847valleyrecord3310-Natalie-c-

Holler was admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, where
she was treated for minor injuries and released, according to police.
She had last been seen around 8:45 p.m. Jan. 9, outside her mother’s
apartment in Federal Way. She had been outside the View at Redondo
Apartments using a cell phone. Her mother’s roommate went to bring her
in shortly after 9 p.m., but couldn’t find her. The last activity on
the phone was recorded at 9:05 p.m.
Her mother, Alisha Holler, contacted police and filed a missing person report shortly after she went missing.
Three days after she disappeared, Holler managed to call 911. Milton
police officers detained the suspect, who was formally arrested by
Federal Way police officers.
No other details are available from the Federal Way Police Department.
It was a harrowing three days for Holler and her family.
“When I dropped her off on Friday…she was talking about things she’d
be doing today,” her father, Denny Holler, said Jan. 11. She’d been
looking to upcoming concerts which she had tickets to, according to him.
The teen’s parents are divorced. Her father is remarried and lives
in North Bend, where Holler attends the eighth grade at Twin Falls
Middle School. She also lives with her 10-year-old brother and newborn
stepsister. She spends one weekend a month with her mother.
Her behavior the day of her disappearance was normal, according to
her mother. They had gone out shopping earlier in the day, and came
home mid-afternoon. Holler took a walk between 4 and 6 p.m.
“I suppose during that time, she could’ve met someone” related to her later disappearance, Alisha Holler said.
She changed her clothes several times the night of Jan. 9 and
brushed her teeth before going out again at 8:45 p.m., when she was
told not to leave the apartment complex’s parking lot, her mother said.
Her mother called her 15 minutes later, but Holler didn’t answer the
phone. Her roommate went outside to bring her in, but came back after
not being able to find her. He and her mother searched a one-block
radius, but found no sign of her, they said.
Clerks at nearby stores said they had not seen her that evening.
“The only thing we have after 9 (p.m.), at about 9:05 (p.m.), there
was some phone activity,” probably a text message either trying to be
sent or delivered, Alisha Holler said.
On Monday, counselors at Twin Falls Middle School spoke to students.
“Most kids are worried and hope she gets found,” said classmate Lydia Petroske.
Fear was a constant companion for Holler’s family during her disappearance.
“I’ve been through a lot of bad stuff in my life and I’ve seen the
ugly underbelly of it, but I’ve never been so scared as I am now,”
Alisha Holler said. “I just want my daughter back.”

SEATTLE - A 47-year-old Kent man was charged Friday with first-degree
rape and kidnapping after he allegedly snatched a 14-year-old girl from
a parking lot and held her captive for three days, prosecutors say.

Christopher
Noel Thomson of Kent was arrested Tuesday and booked into King County
jail, where he now is being held on $1 million bail.

The
incident began Saturday when officers responded to a report of a
missing 14-year-old Federal Way girl who was last seen by her mother
outside her apartment. The mother said the girl did not have a history
of running away.

No trace of the girl was found until Tuesday,
when police in Milton received a 911 call from a girl who said she had
been kidnapped and was being held at a local motel in the Pierce County
community.

The girl said an older man had forced her into his
van in Federal Way and had threatened her with a gun, saying he would
kill her if she did not have sex with him, according to court documents.

She said the man had left the motel in his van and would soon be returning.

The girl described the van and police soon located it. The vehicle was pulled over and Thomson was behind the wheel.

During
questioning by police, Thomson admitted staying at the motel and
claimed the girl was his 19-year-old daughter, court papers say.

After
her rescue by police, the girl told officers that Thomsen had solicited
her for sex in a Federal Way parking lot near her home, according to
court documents.

She agreed to a sex act, but Thomsen then physically forced her into his van against her will, court papers say.

He
then took her to a series of five different hotels between Saturday and
Tuesday, forcing her to perform sex acts and smoke meth under threat of
death with a gun, according to charging documents.

The girl also
told police that she was provided with clothing and was forced to dress
and undress in front of her kidnapper but was not provided with any
type of underwear, court papers say.

By Tuesday, the two of them
wound up in the motel in Milton. The girl called her father and then
911 when Thomsen left the motel in his van to get something.

Police
investigated and found evidence, including meth pipes and weapons, to
back up the girl's account, according to court documents.

In
addition to first-degree kidnapping and first-degree rape, Thomson has
been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, said Dan Donohoe of
the King County Prosecutor's Office.

A 47-year-old man accused of raping a missing Federal Way girl has been charged with kidnapping and several sex offenses.
In charging documents filed Friday, King County prosecutors say
Christopher Noel Thomson abducted the 14-year-old sometime Saturday.
During the three days that followed, prosecutors claim, Thomson
sexually assaulted the girl at a Milton motel.
The girl's family reported her disappearance Saturday evening,
saying the girl had vanished without explanation. They were suspicious
in part, according to court documents, because the teen had no history
of running away.
She remained missing until the following Monday afternoon, when
Milton police received a 911 call from the Daffodil Motel, at 7909
Pacific Highway E.
Speaking with detectives, the girl said she had been standing in the
parking lot of a tattoo parlor when Thomson approached her. She was
working as a prostitute at the time, she told police, and agreed to
have sex with Thomson for money.
Concerned for her safety, the girl refused to get in Thomson's van,
according to police statements. Thomson then pulled her into the back
of the van and locked the door, which could not be unlocked from
inside.
Inside the van, Thomson told the girl "she was now his daughter,"
Federal Way Detective Richard Kim said in court documents. Thomson then
showed the girl a pistol, Kim added, and threatened to kill her if she
tried to escape.
In the days that followed, Kim said, Thomson and the girl bounced
among five motels and that he sexually assaulted her multiple times.
Thompson made the girl repeatedly change her clothes in front of him
and made her practice signing a false name including his surname.
Recalling the girl's statement, Kim told the court that Thomson also
forced her to smoke what she believed to be methamphetamine laced with
a second drug. Neither slept during the girl's three days in captivity.
The girl said she was able to call 911 only after Thomson
momentarily stepped out of the room. Police arrested Thomson minutes
later driving his van in the area.
Asked if he was staying at the Daffodil Motel, Thomson allegedly said he was.
"He stated that he was there with his daughter, but hesitated with
her name," Kim said in court documents. "Eventually, he said … he
didn't know her birthday, because of an old head injury."
Frisking Thomson, police found a key to the room in which the girl
had said she was held as well as a cellular phone containing nude
photos of the girl, according to court documents. After obtaining a
warrant, police searching the room found several knives, a digital
camera and drug paraphernalia described by the girl.
Writing the court, Senior Deputy Prosecutor Charles Sergis asked that Thomson be held on $1 million bail.
"The current offense was an extremely violent offense, accomplished
with the use of a firearm," Sergis said. "In addition, the defendant
knew the victim was 14-years old."
Thomson, who also goes by Christopher Thompson, has been charged
with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and sexual exploitation
of a minor. He remains jailed on $1 million bail and is scheduled to be
arraigned Jan. 25.

Police recovered a missing 14-year-old North Bend girl Jan. 12 after she called 911 from the Daffodil Motel in Milton.
Christopher Thomson, 47, of Kent, has been arrested and charged with
kidnapping, soliciting a minor, rape of a minor and drug possession,
according to court documents.
The girl was admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, where
she was treated for minor injuries and released, according to the
Federal Way Police Department.
Thomson is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
The girl had last been seen at about 8:45 p.m. Jan. 9, outside her
mother’s apartment in Federal Way. Her parents are divorced. Her father
is remarried and lives in North Bend. She spends one weekend a month
with her mother.
Her mother’s roommate went to bring her in shortly after 9 p.m., but
couldn’t find her. He and the girl’s mother searched a one-block
radius, but found no sign of her, they said.
Clerks at nearby stores said they had not seen her that evening.
“The only thing we have after 9 (p.m.), at about 9:05 (p.m.), there
was some phone activity,” probably a text message either trying to be
sent or delivered, her mother said.
Her mother contacted police and filed a missing person report shortly after her daughter went missing.
Federal Way police officers took a report, but the girl’s parents both said they felt frustrated by the department’s efforts.
“They’re treating this like it’s a child that’s just run away,” the mother said Jan. 11.
The girl, meanwhile, had been abducted from a parking lot across the street, according to court documents.
She told police she was in the parking lot soliciting for prostitution, according to the documents.
In the parking lot, Thomson pulled her into his van against her will, she told police.
According to the court papers, he took the teen to five different
motels over the next three days, threatening her with a gun and knife,
forcing her to smoke a drug she said she thought was methamphetamine.
During that time, he raped her more than once, court documents said.
On Jan. 12, Thomson left the girl in a room at the Daffodil Motel
and she called 911. Milton police officers arrested the suspect during
a traffic stop, and Federal Way police officers recovered the girl from
the motel.
