ISABEL MARTINEZ, 3 yo and CAYDENCE GONZALEZ, 2 yo (Sisters)-North Houston TX

An Amber Alert has been issued for two toddlers who were taken from their babysitter's
house Monday afternoon by their biological mother, who is not supposed
to have contact with them, according to the Harris County Sheriff's
Office.

The sisters, Caydence Gonzales, 2, and Isabel Martinez, 3, were taken around 3:30
p.m. by Mecinna Marie Dufore, 28, whose parental rights have been
terminated by the courts. The Amber Alert for both children was
activated a little more than 24 hours later — around 5 p.m. today.

The three were last seen in the north Houston area. The sheriff's office has not released
any information on what type of vehicle the mother and children may be
using.

Caydence Gonzales has curly brown hair and brown eyes, weighs about 25 pounds and is 2
feet tall. She was last seen wearing a pink striped shirt with blue
jeans.

Isabel Martinez has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs about 35 pounds and is 3 feet tall.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown sweatshirt bearing a
picture of a princess crown.

Dufore has a history of drug abuse and some suicidal ideations, the Sheriff's Office
said. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has
brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on Dufore's or the children's whereabouts is asked to call
Deputy John Whitley at the sheriff's office at 713-755-7427.

The Amber Alert issued for two Houston sisters has been cancelled.
Caydence Gonzales, 2, and Isabel Martinez, 3, were safely located
in Ironton, Ohio, by the Cincinnati FBI. Meccinna Dufore, the suspect
and mother of the girls, has been arrested.


Caydence and Isabel were taken from their babysitter's home by Dufore
on Monday afternoon. Michelle Gonzales is the girls' aunt who usually
watches the children. Dufore, who did not have custody, stopped by to
visit and when Gonzales left the room briefly, Dufore fled with the
girls. Dufore, 28, is currently on probation for drug
possession. DPS told us that Dufore's parental rights had been
terminated for some time.
