"Baby John" LEWELLEN - 2 months - Chandler AZ

CHANDLER -- A Chandler woman is accused of abusing her infant son
after the child was found with a fractured leg and other injuries.
On Monday, Chandler police were informed of possible child abuse involving a 2-month-old boy.
An investigation revealed that the baby had bruises, cuts, scratches
and bite marks all over his body. The injuries were in various stages
of healing.
Chandler police Detective Frank Mendoza said there was also obvious
swelling on his right thigh and X-rays confirmed a serious fracture to
the right femur, which will require surgery.


Detectives were able to determine the mother, Aubree Lewellen, was
responsible for the child's injuries and the father, Brett Lewellen,
knew of the abuse but failed to stop or report it to police.
The couple are currently being held at the Maricopa County Jail.
Aubree faces four counts of child abuse and Brett faces four counts of
failure to report.
The child remains in the hospital.

Send them to jail. They do not deserve that baby. Take him away. There should be no reason why they should get him back. If the state returns him, he will be dead the next time they see him. He is only 2 months and the are breaking his leg. Imagine the rest of his life living like that. Not fair to him!
