RIVERVIEW - A missing 11-year-old Riverview boy was found safe this morning in a Walmart, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Kevin Perez has been reunited with his parents, sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon said.
It's
not immediately clear why Perez left home or where he was all night,
but his father said the disappearance might have stemmed from an issue
at school a few months ago.

"This stunt is going to cause a lot of concern for his parents, a
lot of concern for us, but will there be criminal charges? No," McKinnon said.

Perez, a Rodgers Middle School student, was reported missing about
6:45 p.m. Wednesday. His parents told investigators he hadn't returned
home.
