CRYSTAL SHAUGHNESSY - 15 yo - Boston MA

Boston MA ---- Police are reportedly searching for the 15-year-old niece of Congressman
Stephen Lynch.
According to the Boston Globe, Crystal Shaughnessy disappeared after
leaving Boston Latin Academy Wednesday afternoon.
Lynch and his wife raise Crystal.
State police searched for her near Carson Beach and Castle Island in
South Boston, both on land and in the water.
A spokesman for the Boston school system told the paper that several
students skipped classes Wednesday on what appeared to be a planned day
of hooky. Shaughnessy weighs about 95 pounds.
She has blue eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a lime-green hooded
sweatshirt and black pants.

Stephen Lynch's Missing Niece Found Safe
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
The missing 15-year-old niece of Congressman Stephen Lynch has been
found safe.

Crystal Shaughnessy is now at Lynch's home in South Boston.

Lynch's office released this brief statement to WBZ Thursday:

"Crystal Shaughnessy returned home safely this morning. Congressman
Lynch and his wife, Margaret, are extremely grateful to the Boston and
State Police and the MBTA for their assistance and support. "

Boston police told WBZ she was found in East Boston, but no other
details were available.
