NYNEL ACEVIZ-CORDONA - 4 yo - East Moline/Peoria IL

East Moline IL ---- East Moline police are asking for the public’s help in locating
a man who allegedly took his 4-year-old daughter without the
mother’s permission.

Police say Daniel Cardona, 30, took the child, Nynel
Aceviz-Cardona, about 1 p.m., Wednesday. The child’s mother,
Francisca Aceviz, lives in East Moline.

According to police, the couple never married and no legal
visitation agreement has been established.

Police believe Cardona may have travelled to Muscatine and is
staying with a girlfriend. Cardona was last seen driving a black
1996 Chrysler Sebring convertible with license plates K177408.

The child is listed as missing/endangered.

East Moline police say a four year girl is safe
Thursday, less than 24 hours after her father took her from her mother.



Police say Nynel Aceviz-Cardona, 4, was found around 10:30 a.m. in
Muscatine at the home of the brother of the accused, Daniel Cardona, 30,
who is also Nynel's father. She was taken around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday
by her father, Daniel

Daniel reportedly has never been married to Nynel's mother, Francisca
Aceviz, and no legal visitation agreement has ever been established.

Nynel was not hurt and is now back with her mother.

Police did not find Daniel Cardona at the home. An arrest warrant for
Child Abduction has been issued by the Rock island County States
Attorney's Office.
