Russellville AL ---- Authorities are searching for a woman they say
left a court-ordered rehabilitation center with her infant son.
Khristina Wheeler, 20, who has been living in Russellville but is
from Haleyville, has been missing the past two to three weeks and is
believed to be traveling with her 4-week-old infant and her mother.Investigators
said Wheeler was arrested in November on charges of manufacturing
methamphetamine and has a long history of drug use.Authorities
said Wheeler tested positive for pain medication at the time of the
child's birth. Authorities said the infant is believed to be at high
risk.Court records indicate Wheeler was placed in the court-order
rehabilitation program in January before the child was born.Authorities
said Wheeler had been living on Franklin 60, north of the Russellville
city limits.Wheeler is believed to be driving a 1998 white
Chevrolet C1500 truck with a tool box
. The truck was taken from a
residence near where she was living.Wheeler could be traveling
with her mother, Mary Susan Camp. Officials said there have been reports
that they could be staying in the Haleyville area or in the New
Orleans area.Wheeler is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 167
pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.The Franklin County
Department of Human Resources is working with the sheriff's office to
locate Wheeler and her child."We have great concern for both the
baby and her mother
, and we appreciate the public's assistance in
helping us find her and her child," said Franklin County District
Attorney Joey Rushing. "Usually these types of cases are only solved
with the community's help."Anyone with information is asked to

RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. — Franklin County authorities say 20-year-old
Khristina

Alabama
with her infant son in April, has been found in Texas.
Franklin
County officials say Wheeler, who was living in Russellville
but is
from Haleyville, was arrested during the weekend in Galveston
after
local authorities received a tip.
Authorities say Wheeler's
5-week-old infant and her mother, Mary
Susan Camp, also were at the
residence in Texas.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said Wheeler
is being held in
the Galveston City Jail where she awaits
extradition. Franklin County
officials said Wheeler was arrested in
November on methamphetamine
