Plainfield CT ---- Police in Plainfield say
they are looking for a teen missing since Monday.Police said
15-year-old Kayla Kennawi was last seen at Plainfield High School on
Monday when her parents dropped her off at school around 7:15 a.m.



Officials
said they believed Kennawi attended classes throughout the day, but
when her parents arrived after school to pick her up, she didn't show
up.Kennawi is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 93 pounds. She has
brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a gray blouse, gray
T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.Police said
Kennawi's family has not had contact with her since 3 p.m. on Monday
when she left a message and said she was going on a date.Anyone
with information on Kennawi's location is asked to call the Plainfield

Police are looking for a 15-year-old girl who hasn't been heard from
since Monday afternoon when she left her parents a message that she was
going on a date, police said.

Kayla J. Kennawi's parents dropped her off at Plainfield High School.
Police believe she attended classes during the day, but did not meet her
parents when they went to pick her up after school, police said.

She left a message with her family at 3 p.m., saying she was going on a
date.

Kennawi is 5-feet-2-inches, 93 pounds. She has brown hair and green
eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray blouse, gray T-shirt, blue jeans
and black and white sneakers.

It is believed that Kayla might be in the Danielson area. Anyone with
information regarding Kayla's whereabouts is asked to call the

Plainfield police today said a 15-year-old Plainfield girl reported
missing Monday has been found.

Kayla Kennawi was located at a motel in Sturbridge, Mass. this
afternoon by state police in Massachusetts. She was in good health and
transported to the Massachusetts state police barracks in Sturbridge
until her parents were able to pick her up.

Using information provided by Connecticut state police in Danielson,
Massachusetts troopers had checked the motel for a vehicle belonging to a
male associate of Kennawi’s.

Plainfield police said they continue investigation. No further
information was released.
