According to police, officers were looking for Eziafa Okocha late

Okocha is 4'6", 60 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He
was last seen wearing a black and gray shirt, blue shorts with an orange
design on the back pockets and burgundy/white Adidas tennis shoes.

Officers said they have classified the child as an "at risk
missing person" because of his age and because he has never gone
missing before.

However, police said they do not suspect foul-play at this
time and there's no indication that the boy was abducted.

Anyone with information on Okocha's whereabouts is asked to
call the Elk Grove Police Department at (916) 714-5115.

Police have located 9-year-old Eziafa Okocha after he was reported
missing Saturday night, according to police.
Elk Grove Police spokesman Chris Trim said the boy was safely located
at a neighbor's house in the 6800 block of Springridge Way just
before 8:15 a.m. Sunday.
Trim said Okocha spent the night at his friend's house and was
reunited with his family. It appears to be a miscommunication between
the child and his family, according to Trim.
Officers had been looking for Okocha since late Saturday night
when he was last seen near his home in the 6800 block of Peninsula Way
around 4 p.m. Trim said family members contacted them around 10:04 p.m.
after the boy failed to come home.
