NOAH SZEREMY - 7 Months(2010) - Denver CO

A Denver father has been charged with first-degree murder in the death
of his 7-month-old son.Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey
also charged Andrew Szeremy child abuse resulting in death.



On May 14, paramedics and Denver Police officers were called to 3961 Rutgers
Place on a report of a child not breathing. The infant was rushed to
Swedish Medical Center where he died two days later.
The charges allege that Szeremy was caring for his son, Noah, when he
caused fatal injuries to the child, according to a release from the
district attorney's office.Szeremy is being held without bond and
is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday to be advised of the charges.

Father Sentenced In Baby’s Death

DENVER (CBS4)- A man who pleaded guilty earlier this year in connection with the shaking death of his infant son was sentenced to prison on Friday. Andrew Szeremy, 33, was sentenced to 35 years behind bars.

Szeremy pleaded guilty in May to child abuse resulting in death.

On May 14, 2010, Denver Health paramedics and Denver police responded to 3961 Rutgers Place on a report of a child not breathing. The child, 7-month-old Noah Szeremy, was rushed to Swedish Medical Center. He died two days later.

The baby had been dropped off with Szeremy for visitation just before the fatal shaking injuries.
