Police are seeking the public’s help to find a missing 16-year-old
boy with a sleep disorder who disappeared from his West Side home
Wednesday.Milton Chalmers, 16, of the 4800 block of West
Washington Boulevard, was last seen about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday near North
Lamon Avenue and West Washington Boulevard, according to an alert from
Grand Central Area detectives.

Chalmers suffers from a sleep
disorder that makes him fall asleep repeatedly from inactivity, which
could make him appear to be under the influence, according to the alert.
He has not taken a twice-daily medication prescribed to him in 24
hours.He is described as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound black teen with
brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, according to the alert.
He was last seen wearing black glasses, a grey and white striped shirt,
black and grey jean pants, and red and white Allstar gym shoes.Chalmers
wears a medical alert bracelet and is carrying a Social Security Card,
according to the alert. He is known to frequent North Laramie Avenue
near West Washington Boulevard and West Fulton Street.Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Grand Central Area detectives at (312) 746-8365.

Milton Chalmers, a 16-year-old male is missing from 4800 W. Washington. He was
last seen on 11 Aug. 2010 in the area of Washington and Lamon. Milton
is a Black male, 5'5", brown eyes, black hair, medium complexion and
weights 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing black glasses, a grey and
white strip shirt, with black and grey jean pants, and red and white
Allstar gym shoes.
Milton suffers from a sleep disorder, in that he falls asleep
repeatedly from inactivity, which could make him appear to be under the
influence. He is taking Provigil 200mg twice daily, but has not taken
his medication in 24 hours. He has a medical alert bracelet, is
carrying a Social Security Card. Milton is known to hang out in the
area of Laramie and Washington; Laramie and Fulton.
