MARK BERTRAND - 18 yo/Special needs - Louisville KY

A search is underway for an 18-year-old with special needs who has been missing since Monday.

Family and friends say without his medication he could be a danger to himself or to others.
18 year old Mark Bertrand was last seen at this downtown skate park
Monday night. Today his sister Katie Grigsby and her friend Christa Hall
returned with Mark's picture, hoping to find any clues.

"I have been out here trying to help find him, showing the picture,
asking if they have seen him , know him even know if he's ok, " said
Christa Hall a friend of the family.

Grigsby says her 18-year-old brother has special needs and is on a
variety of medications for ADHD and Schizophrenia. She says without
those meds he could be in danger to himself or even to others.

"He could have seizures, coma, he could black out. He could be
hallucinating, not knowing where he's at," said sister Katie Grigsby.

Bertrand was supposed to go to Grigsby's house Monday after school but
never showed up. She filed a missing person's report and fears someone
could have lured him away.

"He's really friendly he's willing to talk to anybody. He's real
gullible too, he will listen to what people say," said Grigsby.

LMPD says they too are actively searching for him. However he was
reported missing just two weeks ago but reappeared a few days later.
Still the family is worried given his medical history, he needs to be
found and treated immediately.

"That he's hurt, he needs help or he needs someone to find him so he can come home," said Grigsby.

Bertrand was last seen with a yellow and gray backpack.
He was wearing a gray shirt with the word SPIVA down the front, blue denim shorts, black tennis shoes and a chain wallet.

Mark Bertrand, 18, has been found at Wayside and is being reunited with
family. Bertrand was last seen at this downtown skate park Monday
night.
