The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help in locating a missing teen last seen on October 29, 2010.Fourteen year-old, Robert Michael Tschida was last seen on Friday, October 29, 2010, around 5:00 PM riding his bicycle on FM 242 and Old Houston Road. Robert is approximately 5’5” and weighs 125 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt with some type of grey design on it, black basketball type shorts, and white tennis shoes with black laces.Robert Tschida is a diabetic and has not had insulin since the morning he was last seen. While foul-play is not suspected at this time there is a concern for his safety and well-being.Anyone that knows or suspects the location of Robert should call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 936-760-5800.

Montgomery County authorities are looking for a 14-year-old boy missing since Friday evening.While officials said foul play is not suspected, they are trying to determine the whereabouts and well-being of Robert Michael Tschida, last seen around 5 p.m. Friday, riding his bicycle on FM 242 near Old Houston.The boy is diabetic and has not had insulin since Friday morning. He was still missing as of late Sunday morning, sheriff's officials said.Robert has brown hair, blue eyes and is 5-foot-5. He weighs about 125 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt bearing a gray design, black basketball shorts and tennis shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5800.

An East Montgomery County teenager who was missing for two days returned home Sunday afternoon, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced.

The teen returned home Sunday shortly after noon with no injuries, Lt. Dan Norris said. Tschida lives near the location he was last seen and “was voluntarily missing,” Norris said.

Norris did not know the reason for Tschida’s disappearance, or where the teen was for the two days he was reported missing.

“Anytime a child returns home safe whether we find him or it’s voluntary, it’s a win-win for everybody,” Norris said.

The parents, who had been in touch with MCSO investigators, contacted the Sheriff’s office upon Tschida’s return, Norris said.
