ESTEFANI PEREZ-RUBIO - 14 yo (2010) Fairfax VA

City of Fairfax Police are asking for assistance in attempting to locate 14 year old Estefani Perez-Rubio, who was last seen in the company of an adult, Charles Alberto Mejia-Ceron. Police were called on November 16 at 10:40 PM for the report of a runaway. Investigation revealed that Perez-Rubio had left her residence with Mejia-Ceron, and that information was verified later by a third party.

Perez-Rubio, also known as “Shorty” is described as a Hispanic female who is approximately four feet six inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a black spot under her left eye. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with “Columbia” written on it, unknown color jeans and black Vans tennis shoes. Perez-Rubio also is known to wear a gold necklace with two hearts on the end, three silver rings, and gold hoop earrings. She also wears a small stud earring although it is unclear which ear it is worn in. Perez-Rubio wears reading glasses and may be carrying an Adidas bag with personal items that would include a second pair of black and white Vans tennis shoes.

Mejia-Ceron is described as a 40 year old Hispanic male who is approximately five feet six inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and possibly sporting a mustache or goatee. Mejia-Ceron was last seen wearing a dark blue short sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Mejia-Ceron takes medication for diabetes and cholesterol, and has in the past worked installing electronics inside cars.

It was reported that Mejia-Ceron was last seen driving a white 1992 Toyota 4Runner with Virginia registration XMT-5390.

This case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division. Police are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate Perez-Rubio and Mejia-Ceron. Anyone who has had contact with them or has information regarding their whereabouts, is asked to call the City of Fairfax Police Department at (703) 385-7924.
