Mother and boyfriend charged: Girl beaten with cord


A Summerville mother are her boyfriend are arrested, after police say her 4 year old
was hit several times with an extension cord.

31 year old Keith Williams is accused of beating Jordan Reynolds little girl with the cord because she allegedly dropped her 5 month old sibling.

According to the police report, the 4 year old had several bruises and broken blood vessels on her body, legs and arms.

Williams and Reynolds are both charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.

According to an affidavit, the victim had contusions and hematomas on her stomach, arms, buttocks, back, thighs and legs, which resembled a cord. The victim also had dried blood and bruising on her body.

Reynolds, the child's mother, was charged because the victim told police that Reynolds looked at the child's injuries, but did not seek medical assistance, an affidavit said. A police report says that Williams is Reynolds' boyfriend.

According to Summerville police, Williams' ex-wife was asked to babysit the victim and her two siblings. When she arrived to babysit, she asked Williams why the child was walking differently and he told her he hit her with an extension cord because she dropped her 5-month-old sibling. Williams' ex-wife then took the child to the hospital.

Williams is also charged with unlawful conduct towards a child.

has now been arrested on charges of unlawful conduct towards a child
after police say her boyfriend beat her 4-year-old girl with an
extension cord.
Keith Williams, 31, of Summerville, is
accused of beating Jordan Suzanne Reynolds' 4-year-old girl with an
extension cord because she dropped a 5-month-old baby. Williams turned
himself in to police Thursday and Friday, Reynolds was charged in the
incident.
Both suspects were in bond court Friday. Williams received a $150,000 bond and Reynolds received a $75,000 bond.
