Authorities in Riverside County were seeking information Tuesday regarding a 15-year-old girl who called her grandmother, saying she was being held against her will.
Mary Belinda Bartolo said she was being held at a hotel. The girl did not provide a location of the hotel and the phone number was blocked, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
Bartolo, a Rubidoux resident, is 5 feet 4 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. She weighs 120 pounds.
Deputies said Bartolo may be with Danny Ramirez, 35. He is described as Latino, about 5 feet 5 tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has numerous tattoos, according to authorities.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the disappearance of a 15 year old girl originally thought to be a juvenile runaway. Mary Belinda Bartolo was reported as being last seen at her home in Rubidoux, California. It’s not known exactly when she may have left the home.

Police say she called her grandmother around 2 p.m. Tuesday and said she was being held against her will in a hotel room but did not say what hotel or indicate a location. Apparently the phone line used had a blocked telephone number according to the grandmother. Mary Bartolo is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Police now believe she may have been abducted and in the company of 35 year old Danny Ramirez. He is described as a 5 foot 5 inch tall male, weighing 180 pounds and having several tattoos.

Kidnapped' girl actually hiding from family

A Rubidoux teenager reported this week as missing — and
possibly kidnapped — is a runaway juvenile who is "willingly
concealing her whereabouts from her family," authorities said
Wednesday. An updated news release sent out by
the Riverside County Sheriff's Department today, Jan. 19, said
15-year-old Mary Belinda Bartolo was last seen Jan. 3, 2011, by
her mother as she ran from the vehicle in which they were riding.

The family received a call recently and believed the girl was
being held against her will. But further investigation has
determined that Mary is hiding from her family, the news release
said. Although the earlier news release said the
teenager was believed to be in the company of Danny Ramirez, a
35-year-old man, the update said it is unknown who may be
accompanying the girl. Anyone with information on
Mary Belinda Bartolo's whereabouts is encouraged to call the
Sheriff's Department dispatch at 951-776-1099 or Investigator
Rice at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station at 951-955-2600.

A 15-year-old missing Rubidoux girl who was believed to have been kidnapped has been found safe, authorities said Thursday.
Mary Belinda Bartolo was found unharmed Wednesday in Anaheim by
Anaheim police officers. The teen was transported back to Rubidoux by
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies, Sgt. Matthew Sims said in a news
release. Information on who the teen was with was not released.
Mary was last seen by her mother Jan. 3 when she ran away from the
vehicle they were riding in. On Tuesday, the teen called her grandmother
around 2 p.m. saying she was being held against her will in a hotel
room, but her exact whereabouts remained unknown. Since the call to the
grandmother was placed using a blocked telephone number, authorities
were unable to trace the call.
Further investigation revealed that Mary was willingly concealing her whereabouts from her family.
