Burlington Teen Missing Since Sunday

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) —

Burlington police are looking for a teen who has been missing since Sunday.

Brittany Thompson, 16, is described as a runaway juvenile after leaving her home at 3777 Harden St. and not returning.

Thompson is described as 5'7" tall with a medium build, brown eyes and
dyed red and blonde hair. She had naturally dark hair and also will wear
a long black wig on occasion.

She was last seen wearing a black coat and blue jeans and may be accompanied by a black male named Terrance.

Anyone with information on Thompson's whereabouts is asked to contact

A Burlington teen who police had been searching for since Sunday returned home Wednesday afternoon.

Brittany Thompson, 16, returned to her home at 3777 Harden St. around 3:30 p.m., according to a news release.

Thompson told police she had been staying with a friend in Gibsonville.

Thompson had been reported missing since leaving her home on Sunday.
