SAPD: Missing girl last seen with Internet 'friend'

San Antonio police are asking for help trying to
find a missing person. They say 12-year-old Eva Valdez was last seen on
February 19.

Police say Eva was last seen in the 300 block of Natlen with someone
she met on the Internet. She was wearing pajama pants and a white short
sleeve shirt.
Eva is described as five feet one inch tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds.

A twelve year old girl is missing. Her parents believe she is with an
older man she met on the internet through her cell phone. Eva Valdez has
been missing since Saturday. Police believe she left on her own, but
because of her age they are concerned. She was last seen on the east
side in the 300 block of Natalen. Investigators believe she got into a
tan colored four door car and went to apartment on the north side.

"Supposedly
this person she is with is over 18 and that's mainly why I need peoples
help. She is a baby," said Maria Valdez, mother.

The family says
Eva's cell phone has been turned off and her profile on that social
networking site deleted. Police are asking for anyone with information
to call them.

UPDATE: San Antonio Police tell News 4 WOAI Eva returned home safely just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday.
